Yes Means Yes & No Means No

So many adults lack the ability to say “Yes” when they want to, and say “No” when they want to too. Not always, but sometimes this is due to their parents and environment not empowering them to say “No” in certain situations when they were younger, or at the very least discouraging the idea to say what you actually mean.

This twisted mentality leads to people distorting in their head what they actually want to do, and make one’s words not match their thoughts. In other words, it leads to unintentional or intentional fakeness. And other traits potentially such a low self-confidence and low courage. The message is if you are a parent, or just as you go through life, become conscious of when you say “Yes” & “No” – Do you actually mean it? And are you encouraging others to state how they truly feel too?
