Brew Your Concoction

Having access to the ingredients of your greatness is one thing. Mixing the ingredients together – efficiently and effectively – is another. In a previous post, I emphasized the importance of having an un-rattled poise before moments. A correlated idea is to brew your greatness in silence before unleashing it. Before a boxer enters the ring, (s)he prepares. And even in the ring, the brewing continues. You have to strategize your punches, and clock one when it’s unexpected. In life, you can’t rush the process to transform into a butterfly. Even though there are no witnesses while in your cocoon, stay there until your greatness is trained and ready to break out. Have faith that the brewing process will turn your pot of God-knows-what into gold. Trust it

Inky Johnson (14:38) – “You see what [reporter] don’t understand – and this is what most people do – they base judgment based off of what they can see. But what they don’t understand is the moments that make you who you are, are the moments that they can’t see.”
