Raising an Ace – To Be Grateful

Staying committed to be your greatest self & maximize your positive contributions to the world is the ultimate form of gratitude! In our next Raising an Ace video, Mariam and I discuss every gratitude form under the sun including this one in the context of parenting. Check it out:

  • Gratitude Importance (00:25 sec) – Appreciate Little Things (00:50) – Emphasize – Constant Reflection (01:01) – Correct Shallow Gratitude (01:20) – Spoil With Love (01:52) – Model Gratitude (02:15) – Appreciate Out Loud (02:36) – Prioritize Selfless Appreciation (02:54) – Facilitate Child’s Appreciation Efforts (03:14) – Cherish Past Moments (03:56) – Lessons from “Negative” People (04:44) – Let Failure Teach (05:28) – See Value in Adversity (05:42) – Appreciate The Grind (06:00) – Embrace Knowledge Process (06:32) – Welcome Open Discourse (06:46) – Practice Mindfulness (07:24) – Every Day is New (07:55) – Avoid Toxic Gratitude (08:08) – Always Strive Higher (08:22) – Indefinitely Make Progress (08:42) – Heartbeat Gratitude (09:10) – Honor Your Life (09:52)

Choose your mentality. No matter what you are experiencing, gratitude is attainable. It is that outlook that can strengthen your resolve, positivity, attraction, happiness, you name it. An ungrateful person often lacks competency in those aforementioned character traits, and several others, due to their narrow-minded thinking. Ungratefulness often comes in the form of feeling entitled to certain things, not seeing the value in adversity, not taking advantage of learning opportunities, not appreciating loved ones, and taking for granite life in general. It will be a dark day for the ungrateful when their days are done, and that’s the saddest outcome of all. Nothing is more tragic than finishing up your life journey, only to return minimal payment. For Ace, we want him to feel the pressure of life. And with that pressure he’ll recognize his duty to give back to life, show his appreciation for life, and maximize his payment at the end of his days.

Peace, Love, & Gratitude!
