32 in 32: Be Free like a Bumble Bee

The bumble bee would screw itself if it abided to what it “should” do or not do. Luckily, it acts completely free and flies it’s own path. Humans, take note. I’ve written before about how people need to be more like butterflies and transform themselves (Part 1 Article & Part 2 Article), so it’s ironic that people should – or I mean can ? – model another flying insect. I guess Muhammad Ali stated “float like a butterfly, sting like a bee” for a reason ?. Due to its wing dimensions and speed, the bumble bee should not be able to fly. The bumble bee doesn’t let this stop it’s determination to fly however. Based off of environment standards, past experiences, or perceived capabilities, many people “should not” be able to do certain things … but really that’s a fallacy, because according to whom? Someone can adopt a “Can’t Be Touched” mentality to negative environmental factors, rebirth on command and start anew, and push limits and run toward their light. Therefore, nobody “should” or “should not” do anything based off those things because someone can resist those negative influences. That’s the bumble bee mentality right there: to be unconditioned by everything, challenge what should be, and act free in every circumstance. Don’t be boxed in to your way of living; have an open mind to fly your true journey. To quote Ralph Waldo Emerson, don’t be afraid to “go where there is no path and leave a trail.” Be free like a bumble bee.
